The Ladies’ Fellowship functions in several ways like the Men’s Fellowship, except that since the spiritual, as well as the social needs and aspirations of the ladies are often expressed differently from those of the men, their group could not be expected to operate exactly the same way as the men’s. Like the Men’s Fellowship, the Ladies’ Fellowship organise their activities every year around a theme. These themes are, however, chosen and activities woven around them to reflect the peculiarities of the ladies.
The ladies meeting holds every Thursday at 5 p.m. in the chapel. Our regular programmes such as Bible study, talks, evangelism, prayer and fasting, as well as interaction with members of the Ladies’ Fellowship at our sister chapel at Gaa Akanbi. Evangelism has been taken more seriously by the Ladies’ Fellowship in the neighbourhood of Tanke and to hospitals once a month by the group, in addition to their active participation in other outreaches by the Missions Team and the chapel.
